Running for a Cause

Team Caravus is proud to have participated in and sponsored the “I Love Forest Park 5K Run” on Saturday, September 6! The run directly supports one of St. Louis’ great treasures, Forest Park.

Competitive runners and leisurely walkers met at the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center in the heart of Forest Park for the 7:30 a.m. start time. The overcast sky and cool temperatures provided the perfect environment for the event, which wound through the park’s numerous sites.  The race was coordinated by Forest Park Forever, which has partnered with the City of St. Louis to restore, maintain and sustain Forest Park as one of America's great urban public parks.

A further appreciation of the landmark wasn’t the only thing we gained from the walk. It also allowed the Caravus team members to continue our commitment to a healthy lifestyle while supporting a great cause at the same time. Congratulations to all of the race participants!
