Welcome To The Team, Phil Frischer!
At Caravus, we like to think all of our team members are “rock stars” but our newest addition is one in the true sense of the words. Besides being an employee benefits pro, Phil Frischer is also the lead vocalist and guitar player with the local band, Whiskey 5.
While Whiskey 5 specializes in 80’s rock bands, Phil is completely focused on the present and future of employee benefits. He joins us after spending the vast majority of his career with global employee benefit firms, where he focused on large group clients. A certified employee benefits specialist (CEBS), Phil’s experience and knowledge base are invaluable, and will only increase our value proposition to clients.
A native of Kansas City, MO, he has been in the St. Louis region for most of his employee benefits career. Since joining us in late October as our director of Client Strategy, Phil has been getting to know the Caravus team. What’s been one of his biggest challenges?
“We provide a wide array of services for our clients and it’s been challenging to learn everyone’s specialty,” Phil said.
He’s impressed, however, by the depth of resources Caravus provides to clients and believes his experience working with large groups will only add to our capabilities.
“I take an analytical approach when evaluating programs for clients – and pretty much all decisions – and believe this may further enhance the service we provide to our clients,” Phil said.
Over the next few months Phil will work side-by-side with our consultants and leadership team to create fresh and meaningful new services and deliverables to our large group clients.
On a Personal Note…
Phil and his wife, Helene, have been married for over 23 years and have two children, Matt and Marni. When he’s not spending time with his family or entertaining the crowd with his band, Phil volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations and is vice president of his congregation. In addition, he’s an avid runner and has participated in various races throughout the area.
Welcome, Phil!
