The “Caravus” Brand Turns 10: Celebrating Our 44-Year History
Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, marks 10 years since our firm rebranded to Caravus. From our roots as a boutique firm founded in 1978, Caravus has grown into the largest privately held employee benefits firm in the St. Louis region.
We’re often asked about the origin of our distinctive name. As we grew, we wanted to set ourselves apart with a moniker that was the perfect combination of what we do and our undeniable mission.
We partnered with a local branding firm and began the search for an identity that we could truly call our own. After many brainstorming sessions, we decided we wanted our new identify to reflect the consistent feedback our customers relayed, which was: you take “care of us.”
Thus, Caravus was born on March 1st, 2012.
Ten Years of Growth
Even before our rebrand to Caravus, we have committed ourselves to providing unparalleled employee benefits services to the St. Louis area and beyond. We continue to focus on consistent, organic growth; growing one client at a time.
In one decade, we updated our name, launched Caravus Connect, moved from downtown St. Louis to our current office in Clayton, and refreshed our logo and branding to reflect our business evolution. Most recently, we also experienced twenty-five percent increase in headcount – adding a substantial amount of fresh talent to our established, experienced team.

As we look to what’s next, we look back on the last forty-four years with gratitude for our clients, our partners and our team. We are optimistic about what the future has in store.
